White Space Attracts Good Fortune

In May 2024, I completed a 4-year and 3-month assignment in Bangkok and returned to Tokyo. Managing the Thai office for four years was challenging as we aimed to expand our business in ASEAN. Initially, leaving behind the team and our progress in Bangkok was hard for me, but those feelings have since faded.

New Book Release with Webinars
“Becoming an ICF Credentialed Coach: The Journey to ACC, PCC and MCC”

We are thrilled to share the launch of a unique book, “Becoming an ICF Credentialed Coach: The Journey to ACC, PCC and MCC”, sharing for the first time the knowledge of 37 ICF Assessor MCC coaches supporting coaches on their journey. Our Coach U faculty member, Ann Fogolin, and Keiko Hirano, an executive coach from our parent company COACH A, are among the contributing authors, providing invaluable insights.

This book aims to help professional coaches on their journey to mastery. Whether you are an ICF coach in training, preparing for your ACC assessment, progressing to your PCC, or getting ready for your MCC submission, this book is essential reading. The book includes for the first time the ICF BARS and Markers used by ICF assessors in marking ICF ACC, PCC and MCC submissions, along with coach assessors’ guidance on how coaches can demonstrate these competencies in their coaching recordings and coach practice. With contribution from some of the world’s most experienced assessors, our experts share their insights and expertise, helping you on your journey of development, unpicking the ICF Core Competencies to give you practical insights to improve your coaching and become the best coach in service of your clients.

To celebrate the launch of this new book, a series of 21 webinars, focused on ICF Core Competencies through the eyes of ICF MCC coaches, will be hosted. These sessions will take place every Wednesday from September 18 to December 4, 2024, in two different time zones. You will have the opportunity to learn from the authors directly, get inspired and ask your questions. Recordings will be available, along with transcripts in English and Spanish.
