The most important element of coaching is to encourage discovery. The information you explore and discover together with the person in front of you, will be turned into new awareness that will guide you in new actions for the future.

Your subordinates or clients may have enough information within themselves to get the job done. However, they might have thoughts and ideas inside themselves that will never be spoken unless someone helps them discover .

Just having one person to accompany them in that exploration can make their life much more powerful.

The moment you are willing to discover the abilities, feelings, and thoughts of the person in front of you , you will become that person's best partner (coach) in life at that moment.
